I have a broad background of experience in prison health services, child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP), psychosis and substance abuse disorders within mental health care, the Department for Addiction Medicine and the Section for Acute Psychiatric Services at DPS. In recent years, I have worked as a psychologist specialist and chief psychologist in a large private psychology firm, which has gradually become a chain. In addition to clinical work, I have extensive experience in supervising students, psychologists, and other professional groups.
My goal is to create a safe and supportive atmosphere in the therapy room where through collaboration and teamwork. Contributing to better mental health and well-being for you. I have experience and expertise in various forms of therapy and adapt the treatment to the individual's needs.
Everyone has a physical health and a mental health. It is natural to go to a doctor when you have physical and medical needs. It is equally important and natural to go to a psychologist when you have psychological difficulties or emotional needs/challenges. You therefore do not have to be mentally ill to come to me. It may well be that you are in a difficult life situation/crisis, have too many worries that disrupting sleep and quality of life, or are unsure of how to communicate with your partner. Perhaps you need advice and tools for dealing with children/young people in the house. Perhaps you are experiencing stress, burnout, etc. Together we can try to navigate through the difficulties so that everyday life does not become unnecessarily difficult. My experience is that many people feel that it is safe and good to have a neutral professional to deal with various psychological and emotional needs.
As a psychologist, I am bound by the vow of confidentiality!
